„Ardor“ is a candle-lamp which provides the candlelight itself with a special space and value. It consists of a cast bronze base and a glass shade. The shade takes up the shape of the candle, captures its glow and becomes a body of light itself that interacts with the candle. During production, the glass was blown into two different moulds, which determined the inner and outer silhouette of the body and resulted in variations in the wall thickness. Due to their optical properties, ring-shaped lines are projected onto the environment. These rings slowly move upwards as the candle burns down and depict a natural course of time.
