LUNUS is a light object, consisting of curved glass panels with diverse sizes, colours, and thicknesses. Each glass element is individually cut and layered. While having a simple shape, the fundamental properties of the material itself along with the penetration of light contribute to its visual beauty and complexity. From a vertical viewpoint, LUNUS shows a concentric construction, associated with a Copernican system based heliocentric motion. Like the planets revolving around the sun, the individual glass elements rotate around the light in the middle. The color and intensity of the light can have varying modalities as each layer of the glass is rotating.
