≫wired« is a set consisting of a pitcher and two differing tumblers that are characterized by their conical shapes and rippled faces. Focal point of the work was the development of new methods for creating textures. In various runs and experiments thin metal rods were jointed to cagelike figures in which then hot glass was blown into. Depending on temperature and applied pressure the semi-fluid forges on the wires, copying their patterns. For the final version the filaments were fused very tightly resulting in a finer structuring and enabeling the basic design to be more accurately defined.
